Foundation (UCRF) is excited to announce the Research & Mentorship Scholarship, offering financial support and professional development to aspiring researchers in chiropractic care.
Scholarship Details:
- Scholarship Amount: $1,000 per recipient
- Number of Awards: 5 annually (please apply to up to 2 only of the topics - view topics below)
- Additional Benefits:
- Full payment of NUCCA Level 1 & 2 board certification fees.
- Mentorship with experienced NUCCA practitioners throughout the research project.
- Recognition through a Research Honors Award upon successful project completion.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be student pursuing a degree or certification in healthcare or chiropractic, with a focus on upper cervical care.
- Strong interest in research, particularly related to the NUCCA protocol and upper cervical spine.
- Excellent writing and analytical skills.
- Commitment to completing the research project and pursuing NUCCA board certification.
Application Process:
1. Essay Submission:
- Write a 1,000-1,500 word essay on a topic related to upper cervical care. The essay should showcase your ability to conduct research, analyze data, and present findings clearly.
- Evaluation criteria: clarity, originality, research skills, critical thinking, and ability to articulate ideas effectively.
2. Resume Submission:
- Submit an up-to-date resume highlighting your academic background, professional experience, and any relevant research or healthcare involvement.
3. Interview:
- Participate in an interview to assess your passion for upper cervical care, alignment with UCRF’s mission, and your potential contributions to the research project.

- Application Deadline: March 25, 2025 - deadline extended until April 25
- Interviews Conducted: April 28 – May 10, 2025
- Award Announcement: May 15, 2025
